Drove down with Beth (my ex-rommate from the Mayflower) to Kansas City, which, by the way, is located in Kansas AND Missouri. Who knew? Beth lives on the Missouri side. Nadja (visiting for a few days) and Bill also drove down from Iowa City, and Okie and his friend Brandon drove up from Oklahoma. We partied at the Holiday Inn one night and hung out at Scarby's house - in the Kansas part of Kansas City - and attended his sister's high school graduation party. So, on the whole, didn't get to see much of the city itself, but had a great time with friends. |
